- Context
- A family business founded in 2013 in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.

The design challenge.
Make a family farm recognisable beyond the farm gate. The work spans the name and visual identity, individual product labels and how the produce is presented in retail.
A recognisable family of products.
The name, logo and graphic elements repeat across the range, while the label layouts distinguish individual products. The artwork below shows the system; the photographs show it applied.

From artwork to the shelf.
The farm supplies Central Food Hall and Tops. Entering modern trade also involved meeting 22 Ministry of Public Health standards. Packaging and presentation were part of a wider family effort to take the produce to market.

The business behind the work.
The farm was established on 12 rai of family land beside the Mae Klong River. Working on a real product gives the visual decisions a practical context: the packaging has to be made, handled and understood. The farm and Kalavela Farm Cafe are separate locations.

Independent coverage.
Published features provide context for the business and the people behind it.
